AMI Metals is growing in Spokane Valley 

Aerospace materials specialist doubles manufacturing footprint

AMI Metals

AMI Metals president Bernie Rees, alongside our own Director Joe Nguyễn, announced that AMI Metals secured a 12.08 acre site in Spokane Valley to develop a new 101,000-square-foot facility.

The increased footprint will allow the company to increase capacity and hire more employees locally.

Portal Space Systems expands by six times

Spacecraft manufacturer builds new facility in Bothell

Portal Systems and Director Joe

Portal co-founder, CEO and CTO Jeff Thornburg, shared news about the company's new manufacturing facility, now under construction in Bothell. 

Their current 8,000 square foot facilty is home to Supernova, the first commercial next-gen spacecraft. The new 50,00 SF facility will be just two miles away.

This brings local jobs and growth of long range mission possibilities for commewrcial and defense customers.

The Washington State Department of Commerce administers grants in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration State Trade Expansion Program (STEP). The STEP Export Voucher program awards cash reimbursements for small businesses to help offset expenses of expanding international sales.
