Over 55,000 Palestinians have been killed within two years - families, babies, and the equivalent of entire teams of athletes erased. Yet FIFA continues to roll out the red carpet for Israel.
But now, just a week before Italy faces Israel in a World Cup qualifier, a group of Italian football coaches are taking a stand: demanding that FIFA and UEFA suspend Israel from the tournament.
A ban like this would isolate Israel while they kill innocents and send a clear message: no country committing genocide can expect to play on the world stage.
When Russia invaded Ukraine, FIFA banned Russia within days. Why the double standard when it comes to Israel’s war crimes? With millions of voices behind the Italian coaches, FIFA will have no choice but to act:

And there’s more: at least eight Israeli clubs are based in illegal West Bank settlements, in breach of FIFA’s own rules. Some are notorious for racism against Palestinian people.
On September 8, Italy is set to face Israel in Hungary. If the world rallies now, we can push FIFA to act and ban Israel from the World Cup.

People power works. Even Netanyahu admitted that Germany halted arms exports last month because of public pressure.
Whether it’s football or politics: no country committing genocide should ever be given the red carpet treatment. Together, let’s get FIFA & UEFA to take a stand.
