 Hi there, Thank you for joining my campaign for New York’s 19th District. We’re going to need all hands on deck to make sure we hold onto this toss-up seat in 2020, and I’m grateful to have you with us in the fight. I grew up in a working class family right here in Upstate New York. My parents both worked full time jobs, and by seizing every opportunity America offered them, they pulled themselves into the middle class. They not only gave me the tools to succeed, but also instilled in me the importance of giving back to your community and being a part of something bigger than yourself. Today, my wife Lacey and I are raising our twin boys in the same area we both grew up in. This place is our home. We now see more people struggling to get by. The cost of everything from a tank of gas to child care to prescription drugs is going up -- and it’s putting strain on working families. As a new member of Congress, I’m fighting for universal health care, campaign finance reform, clean air and water, investment in our infrastructure, and good paying jobs for our region. My work is just getting started, but my North Star is -- and will always be -- serving the people of upstate New York. We need to put the American Dream back into reach.
