Ann Arbor municipal offices will be closed for the Independence Day holiday Friday, July 3. However, curbside collection of trash/compost/recycling will continue as regularly scheduled, without delay. The city is also issuing fireworks usage reminders and safety tips, including the legal dates and times when fireworks may be used and notice that use is strictly prohibited in parks, among other places.

This year, completing your census form now, as opposed to waiting, is more important than ever. Later this summer, census takers from our community will begin visiting every household that has not responded. With COVID-19 causing us all to be more cautious with in-person interactions, your self-response - online, by mail or by phone - will prevent a census taker from having to visit you, and that would be much appreciated. Thank you to all who have already completed the 2020 Census and to those who plan to soon! BE COUNTED! Complete your 2020 Census today. Funding and representation for our community depend on YOU!
