Donald Trump illegally sent the National Guard to Los Angeles to silence protesters.
Then he sent them to Washington D.C. to police the streets.
Now, he's threatening to send them to Chicago and other blue cities to sew more chaos.
Let's be very clear: this is NOT about fighting crime. There are Republican cities like Memphis or Kansas City with higher crime rates that get a pass.
This is purely political. He wants to punish these cities that he views as a threat. But the National Guard is here to keep all of us safe - not to be used as a political weapon to do Donald Trump's bidding!
