[ [link removed] ]The Guardian: Democrat flips Iowa state senate seat, breaks Republican
supermajority

Democrats just won a huge special election in Iowa, wildly outperforming
their expected vote share, flipping a Republican stronghold, and breaking
the Republican supermajority in the Iowa State Senate.

In special elections across the country this year – from Iowa to
Pennsylvania to New Hampshire – Democrats are shattering partisan math and
flipping districts Trump won by large margins in the last election.

You may not see a Trump backlash in many headlines but it is happening
where it matters – the voting booth. These races are just the beginning.

[ [link removed] ]Can you chip in $7 to 7 Democratic fighters who can flip Republican
seats or win competitive open races in 2025?

Voters are rejecting Trump’s vision for America where billionaires get
trillions in tax breaks paid for with trillions of dollars in cuts to
Medicare, food assistance for kids, and veterans benefits – while our
cities are occupied by military troops.

The special election victories across the country this year are the direct
result of that rejection. They show that when we empower Democrats who
fight unapologetically, they defy national polls and win.

Margins like these are enough to take back the House in 2026 and secure
state legislature seats across the country.

seats and win competitive open races in 2025?

Thanks for being with us in this fight.
