We've got big news.
Today Boris Johnson announced that we will "build back greener", but the climate emergency barely got a look-in when it came to how money is going to be spent. [1]
The government has talked a big talk about tackling the climate crisis. A green recovery needs action, not just words . Can you help make this message loud and clear to Boris Johnson?

As well as tackling the climate emergency, a green recovery could create 1.8 million green jobs. [2]
These jobs would provide a vital lifeline for young people, those transitioning from polluting industries, and people facing unemployment after coronavirus. As we face a major unemployment crisis, we need the government to act quickly as possible to create jobs that will benefit us, and the planet. [3]
Creating green jobs is an obvious win-win. The climate emergency hasn't stopped during coronavirus - a green recovery will help us solve that problem and provide us with the jobs we desperately need.
The government can't afford to mess this up. And we can't afford to let them.
We can rebuild the economy and tackle the climate emergency at the same time. We can't afford to choose between the two.
