Hamas robbed Palestinians of an incredible society
Dear Sir or Madam,
For years, Hamas used countless amounts of money, materials and manpower to build 500 miles of terror tunnels under Gaza.
While much of the money and materials for the tunnels was supplied by Iran, significant amounts were stolen directly from humanitarian assistance meant for Gaza’s citizens.
The vast tunnel network:
Had exit shafts into schools, hospitals, homes and mosques.
Was concrete-fortified, and outfitted with electricity and plumbing.
It remained stocked with food, weapons and living quarters.
Hamas robbed Palestinians of an incredible society living in peace with Israel. This tunnel network wasn’t built to protect the people of Gaza, only to attack and kidnap Israelis.
Today, Hamas is prolonging the suffering of Israelis and Palestinians. The war could end tomorrow if Hamas releases the hostages, lays down its arms and relinquishes power.
The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
