Dear Members and Associates,

At our last meeting we had the pleasure of screening and endorsing DSA member Jen McEwen. Jen is strong on environmental issues, strong of racial justice issues, and will stand up for working class interests in Minnesota. Her experience as a public defender in particular makes her acutely aware of the serious changes we need to make to our criminal justice system. She will fight for universal health care, more affordable housing, and serious investment in our underserved communities. In short, Jen values people and the planet over profits.

But Jen needs our help. She is a strong candidate, but we need to step up both as a chapter and a larger progressive community. Covid has us down, but we are not helpless.
