Happy Labor Day, John!
I wanted to personally extend my best wishes to you this holiday weekend – and to thank you for all your support as we closed out our August fundraising deadline strong.
Labor Day is not just a day off – it's a day to honor the dedicated individuals who have fought tirelessly for workers' rights, fair wages, and safe working conditions.
It's a day to remember the sacrifices made by workers who paved the way for the rights and protections we often take for granted today.
In Congress, I’m working every day to carry that fight forward.
I’m proud to sponsor the PRO Act – to protect your right to collectively bargain. I’ve also introduced a bill to protect workers from harassment and discrimination by ending practices that silence workers, strengthening civil rights protections, and holding workplaces accountable.
The strength of American families depends on the success and fair treatment of American workers. That’s why I’ll keep pushing to make sure every worker gets the dignity, safety, and respect they deserve.
Thank you – for everything.
– Marilyn
