Happy Labor Day, friend!

Today, we recognize the incredible contributions that workers across our great state of Colorado—and the entire nation—make every day.

The Labor Movement has fought for fair wages, safe working conditions, and reasonable hours for workers, and today we honor the progress that has been made and recommit to the fight for workers rights in Colorado and nationwide.

No person should have to choose between a day’s pay or standing in an eight-hour line to vote. That’s why I fought for increased early voting, more ballot drop boxes, and more day-of voting locations as Secretary of State. I’ve stood on the picket line with workers, and as Attorney General, I will continue to be an advocate for collective bargaining, the right to unionize, and a fair living wage. It's an honor to have the support of 14 unions across Colorado!

As you enjoy Labor Day, I hope you find a moment to reflect on the contributions that workers have made to our state and the ways we can continue to support them in the future.
