Meeting with Gen. Dagvin RM Anderson at United States Africa Command
Last week, members of the House Armed Services Committee met with Gen. Dagvin RM Anderson, Commander of U.S. Africa Command, to discuss U.S. national security interests in Africa. I appreciate Gen. Anderson and his staff for hosting us and for the work they are doing.
We were also able to travel throughout the continent and meet with key leadership from African countries to discuss advancing U.S. national interests and promoting regional security, stability, and prosperity.
This is an important trip and the insight it provides is integral to making decisions regarding the region.
Spending Time with RTX
I had the opportunity to take a tour of the RTX facility. The work they are doing for our military and commercial airplanes is impressive. Without these types of public-private partnerships, like the one between RTX and the United States Government, our military would be underequipped. We appreciate the hard work being done by the good folks at RTX and we look forward to the future.
