This Labor Day, I’m thinking about the working families who built our communities and continue to make them stronger every day.
As a dad of two teenagers, I see how hard parents work to provide for their kids, often juggling multiple jobs and still struggling to make ends meet.
Too many working families are still being left behind. Parents shouldn’t have to choose between taking care of a sick child and keeping their job. Workers shouldn’t fear speaking up about unsafe conditions. And no one working full-time should struggle to afford basic necessities like housing, healthcare, or childcare.
Our economy works best when it benefits everyone – not just those at the top.
Appreciate you,
