This Labor Day, we celebrate the working people of America — and the labor movement that secured the rights so many of us now rely on: fair wages, the 40-hour work week, safe workplaces, and dignity on the job.
These victories didn’t come easily. They were hard fought and won through organizing, collective bargaining, and solidarity — and they remain the foundation of the American dream.
As a proud former member of MEA and AFSCME, and with a 100% pro-labor record from the AFL-CIO, AFSCME, CWA, IAM, IAFF, IBEW, and NEA, I will always stand shoulder-to-shoulder with organized labor and working families.
So, today, join me as we recommit ourselves to advancing workers’ rights. Let’s keep pushing forward — together.
