Right now, working people – especially care workers – are under attack. Our job protections have been gutted, our families and communities are being ripped apart, Medicaid and our social safety net are being slashed, and our basic rights are under threat . Meanwhile, the ultra-rich are getting richer as billionaires chip away at our democracy.
It’s easy to feel overwhelmed. But now is not the time to sit on the sidelines – it’s time to stand with each other, shoulder to shoulder.
When politicians and CEOs try to divide us, we choose unity. When our rights are under attack, we rise together. The fight for dignity in care work is about respect for the labor that holds our families and neighborhoods together. And despite these attacks, this Labor Day we will honor that work and demand our government do the same.
Join us today and RSVP to a Labor Day action near you – and bring your friends and family!! [[link removed]]

As always, thanks for all you do,

The majority of domestic workers sit at the center of some of our nation’s most decisive issues because of who they are and what they do: they are women – mostly women of color, immigrants, mothers, and low-wage workers. They are impacted by almost every policy affecting the future of our economy, democracy and country.
Domestic workers can lead us toward a new, inclusive vision for the future for all of us -- and your grassroots support is the fuel that can get us there.
