We’ll be upfront with you: This is our most important deadline since the last election. Here’s why:

Trump and his allies are attacking our democracy. They’re gerrymandering states to give themselves more congressional seats. Trump is threatening to end mail-in voting. He’s even sent the National Guard into Washington, D.C. — a political ploy to intimidate communities and waste resources — and he’s threatening to do the same in other cities.

Right now, it’s critical that we send a powerful message to Donald Trump and Republicans: Democrats are not backing down from fighting for our democracy and for the people.

We’re organizing. We’re standing together. We’re fighting back. In California, Democrats are moving forward with a ballot measure to redraw the state’s maps and counter Republicans’ gerrymandering in Texas. And Democrats in other states are considering redrawing their maps, too.
