• National Republicans are spreading baseless attacks aimed at misleading voters about my record. They realize their House majority is razor-thin, and flipping this seat is crucial to retaining power, even if it means lying through their teeth.


• The deception doesn’t end there. Texas Republicans approved new maps to add 5 GOP seats to Congress, and in retaliation, California is putting new maps on the ballot to even the playing field. While the new lines remain unclear, this will present unprecedented challenges in my race.


• As I return to Washington in the coming days to fight for CA-49, my Republican opponent is raising huge amounts of money to flip this seat. This seat has always been competitive, but the data is clear: Republicans are pouring more attacks and resources into flipping this seat, and they’re getting closer.
