Let’s talk about the ongoing redistricting fight.

• The Republican-held Texas legislature passed new maps that would give Texas FIVE more Republican seats.
• California led the charge on redrawing their maps to favor Democrats and mitigate the losses from the Texas maps.
• Now, Trump is saying the DOJ will SUE California over their “unfair” maps.

John, I’m a reasonable person, but years of politics have taught me to think 3 steps ahead. The GOP has already tried to draw Lucy out of her district – three times.

I’m hoping that Georgia doesn’t blindly follow Trump’s orders, but with states like Missouri, Ohio and Indiana publicly considering redraws… we can’t be too prepared.

So that’s why I’m coming to you, John. With our end of month deadline coming up tomorrow at midnight, we’re trying to beef up our campaign account as much as possible so we’re prepared to fight these new maps, whether it’s here in Georgia or fighting for fellow Democrats around the country. Will you chip in?
