This November, Justice Christine Donohue and two other justices are up for retention, and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court majority is at stake. Nobody is more passionate about building (and keeping) progressive majorities where it matters most than the EMILYs List community, so I'm coming to you with some crucial information about this race.

This election comes at a pivotal moment: partisan efforts to undermine judicial independence are intensifying, and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court is a critical backstop for voting rights, reproductive freedom, labor protections, and fair elections.

National Republicans know what's at stake too, and they're planning to pour money into this race to vote out Justice Donohue and flip control of the court.
