Labor Day recognizes the movement that secured so many of the protections our labor force relies on — like paid time off, weekends, and more. Rest is revolutionary, and that cannot be forgotten in this fight.
Our fight for immigrant justice acknowledges the need for our rest and dreams for the future, because our communities are worth so much more than our labor and contributions.
As working people who power this country and our communities, we know our fight for liberation is deeply interconnected. We don’t just power our country, we power ourselves through love, tenacity, and unshakeable courage to show up and fight for what our people deserve.
As we collectively face a moment meant to divide us, we have to have each other’s backs.
