Sometimes I wonder what this guy would think about where he ended up:

He had no idea what the next few decades would look like, and he had a whole lot of growing up to do.

It wasn’t easy. It’s not easy dodging surface-to-air missiles over Iraq. It’s not easy flying a rocket ship. It’s not easy when the woman you love is shot. And it hasn’t been easy seeing the richest guy on earth and the President of the United States attack our democracy and drag my name through the mud.

So, yeah, it wasn’t easy. But with a good team, a lot of hard work, and a lot more luck, I made it this far. Much of that is thanks to you, and I really can’t tell you how grateful I am that you’ve stuck with me all this time.

And honestly, it shouldn’t take more than that. But I’ve got one more request for you.

We’ve got a fundraising deadline at midnight tonight. We’re spending through our resources at a rapid clip, and if we don’t replenish them, we could be in real trouble.

So, I’m asking: Can I count on you for a donation before midnight tonight? We’re behind on our goals, but with a good push we can close that gap. It adds up fast when a lot of people are chipping in, and I’d really appreciate your support.
