Hey — it’s Mikie’s finance team here. We have a big deadline in a few hours, and here’s where we stand:

The good news: On Friday, Mikie sent this grassroots team a candid message. As Mikie said, with polls showing Mikie’s lead all but disappearing, and with our fundraising lagging behind our August goals, we needed to change course fast.

And our incredible grassroots supporters responded. We are beyond grateful for the surge of support we have seen this weekend.

The bad news: It has not been quite enough to close the gap and hit our August fundraising benchmark — a goal we absolutely cannot afford to miss if we’re going to fight back the way we need to against the constant MAGA super PAC attacks Mikie is facing in this race.

We’ve got 14 hours before our deadline hits and we need to make them count. Will you make a donation before midnight to help us get on track for the final weeks of this toss-up race?
