2025-2026 Professional Learning Programs

As the school year gets underway and your calendar fills up, remember—your professional growth matters, too. We’d love for you to keep learning and connecting with us throughout the year, in-person or virtually.


Our professional learning calendar for the 2025-2026 academic year is available now. Register in advance to save your spot for these free programs.


This year, our programs will focus on teaching the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and building your content knowledge of our nation’s founding documents and principles in order to effectively engage your students.

Virtual Monthly Sessions

  • 90-minute sessions that serve as introductions to the U.S. Constitution that explore methods for constitutional teaching and pedagogy from experienced practitioners and scholars. Topics this year will focus on the 250th anniversary theme. Learn more


NEW: Virtual Sessions: Protocol Edition

  • 60-minute sessions that provide an opportunity to explore classroom-ready instructional protocols designed to bring the NCC’s educational framework to life. Learn more


NEW: In-Person Workshops on Teaching the 250th

  • In partnership with local organizations in Wisconsin, Arizona, and Texas, our team is offering full day and half day in-person workshops on teaching the 250th. Find a workshop near you


Spring 2026 Weekend Workshops

  • Immersive three-day sessions hosted at the Center designed to deepen participants’ understanding of constitutional topics while fostering collaboration with peers nationwide. Applications will open on Friday, October 10.


Summer 2026 Educator Institutes

  • Four-to-six-day programs hosted at the Center where participants dive into content through tours and scholar talks and develop innovative, nonpartisan ways to make the content relevant to their students. Applications will open in December.
