What Time will the Mass Begin?

The Mass will begin at 7:00 AM, Monday, September 1 (Local time in Rome, Italy).

What Time will the Mass Begin in my Time zone? 

* Please note that in some time-zones, the Mass may begin on the evening of August 31.  

Sydney NSW, Australia Time: Holy Mass will begin at 3:00 PM on September 1

Singapore Time: Holy Mass will begin at 1:00 PM September 1

London Time: Holy Mass will begin at 6:00 AM on September 1

USA Eastern Daylight Time: Holy Mass will begin at 1:00 AM on September 1

USA Central Daylight Time: Holy Mass will begin at 12 Midnight on September 1

USA Mountain Daylight Time: Holy Mass will begin at 11:00 PM on August 31

USA Pacific Daylight Time and the state of Arizona: Holy Mass will begin at 10:00 PM on August 31

USA - Hawaii-Aleutian Time: Holy Mass will begin at 7:00 PM on August 31

Why is the sound turned off during some parts of the Holy Mass?

In the Extraordinary Form of the Mass, which His Eminence often celebrates, some portions of the Liturgy (namely the Consecration of the Holy Eucharist) are veiled in silence so as to give due reverence and respect to the sacred mysteries taking place. Hence, our sound system is muted during these portions of the Mass to preserve the sacredness of Liturgy. This reverential silence gives us the opportunity to pray and meditate on the Sacred Mysteries which Our Lord is manifesting in the Liturgy of the Holy Mass.
