I really haven’t commented on the Florida Governor’s race until now because I thought it was just too early…

However, I attended the Republican Liberty Caucus dinner last night in Brevard, and I sat through my first full Byron Donalds speech since serving with him in the Florida House.

I can objectively say this was one of the top 3 most boring speeches I’ve ever heard in politics.

Honestly, the speech was the most lifeless thing I’ve seen—cold as a dead fish.

The entire thing was extremely Bush-era, very much of a previous generation that’s not ours.

We need new energy. We need someone else to enter this race immediately because Byron Donalds is not the right person for Florida at this moment.

He just doesn’t have the populist energy that now animates the Right.

Many good people could get in— Matt Gaetz, for example…
