Team — forwarding Mary Gay’s note below because time is running out this month.
Mary Gay is hitting the road in PA and beyond, going into flippable red and purple districts, answering tough questions, fighting for lifelines like Medicaid and SNAP, and making sure the truth about what’s happening in Washington gets to the people who need to hear it.
And here’s why that matters: campaign season is officially underway, especially with the PA Supreme Court race and others happening in 65 days. With a fractured news media, rampant disinfo online, and Trump’s constant lies from the Oval Office, it’s no wonder people have questions about what’s going on.
They deserve answers, and Mary Gay plans to deliver — and show voters how Democrats are fighting back. But to keep this work going into campaign season, we need to raise an additional $7,500 before the end of the month. Pitch in today to help >>

John, want to guess where I’ve been? … Deep in Republican-held districts.
Want to guess why? Because they’re FLIPPABLE. And because the people there — Republican, Democrat, Independent, or simply fed up — deserve to hear the truth about what’s happening in Washington so they can make the best decisions for their families and communities.
I’ve been co-hosting town halls in my district and in red districts across the country, partnering with Democratic candidates on the front lines of this fight to bring word to the very people Republicans are most afraid of: their voters.
If you want to help my team and me keep this strategy up while we lay the groundwork for campaign season, you can do that here.
In fact, I just paid a visit to the residents of New York’s 21st, since their Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has made it perfectly clear she cares more about keeping Donald Trump happy than taking care of the people she serves. In fact, she’s getting booed in her own district because of her inability to show up for the people. As a member of Congress, it’s intolerable to witness the GOP tossing their voters under the bus for MAGA; we can’t wait around while American families suffer.
So while Republicans gut funding for Medicaid, PBS, and SNAP, my colleagues and I are showing up — answering questions, speaking directly to voters, and making sure everyone knows what’s at stake.
John: These programs are not just numbers on a spreadsheet. They are lifelines for seniors, kids, families, and communities nationwide. They are the bedrock of the American promise — and they are disappearing right in front of us.
This is a pivotal moment — and I believe it demands that we SHOW UP. Everywhere.
That’s what I’m doing. And if you chip in today, that’s what you’ll be doing too.
— Mary Gay
P.S. If you had a chance to sign my birthday card or leave me a message, I want to thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart. It means so much to know you care. If you missed the chance to sign my card, the second-best present you could give me is chipping in to help my team and me meet this moment.
