Hi John,

Today Donald Trump tweeted out a video of a white St. Louis couple threateningly waving guns — including an assault rifle — at peaceful BLM protestors who were passing by their home.

Naturally, Matt Gaetz rushed to Trump’s defense, spewing out a tweet with a response that’s as abhorrent as it is absurd.

It disgusts me that this is who I’m running against, but the ridiculous scene redoubles my resolve to keep fighting. There is no doubt in my mind that Matt Gaetz is one of the most dangerous politicians in America and a threat to our democracy and our way of life.

Gaetz has absolutely no interest in bringing our nation together to overcome this difficult time. He only seeks to divide and turn us against each other because he thinks it benefits him. That’s un-American.
