It’s clear what we’re up against

Hi John, Luke here.

Quick update from the road: Mary Gay just co-hosted a town hall in Elise Stefanik’s district, and I want to talk about why. While Stefanik is avoiding her constituents because she’s afraid of getting booed in her own backyard (makes sense because that’s exactly what happened), Mary Gay showed up, took tough questions, and connected with voters across the political spectrum. Real conversations, real problems, real answers.

That’s the contrast we need heading into the thick of campaign season.

But here’s the thing: while Republicans like Stefanik are hiding, they’re also pushing an agenda that puts our most valuable lifelines on the chopping block — Medicaid, PBS, and SNAP. Add in Trump’s call to cancel vote-by-mail and unleashing the National Guard on Americans in DC, and it’s clear what we’re up against.

Mary Gay isn’t afraid to fight back. She’s proving that when Democrats show up — in red, blue, or purple districts — we can reach people and hold MAGA accountable. It’s how we win. It’s how we take back the House. And it’s how we finally start governing for the people again.

Our goal is to raise an additional $7,500 before the end of the month so we can continue putting Mary Gay out there in flippable districts and keep these town halls going during PEAK campaign ramp-up season. Can you chip in whatever you can today to help us hit the target?
