Fellow American,

I hope you’re having a wonderful day. My name is Kyle Murnen and I’m the director of online learning here at Hillsdale College.

I write to invite you to watch a preview of our newest online course, “The Genesis Story: Reading Biblical Narratives.

[link removed]

I think this course might interest you. It’s about the book of Genesis, which teaches beautiful and important lessons about God’s relationship to man and about our relationship to our fellow man. This new course provides a close reading of Genesis that reveals not only God’s purposes, but also a literary richness that encourages all men to turn to God.

In this course, taught by Hillsdale College professor of English Justin Jackson, you will explore the main themes of Genesis and discover from its literary details the connection between long-standing religious tradition and Western civilization. Dr. Larry P. Arnn, president of Hillsdale College, also gives an introductory lecture to the course about the importance of Genesis and of Christianity in higher education.

I invite you to watch a brief trailer about the course, and if you like it, to share it with your family and friends
