Nearly four years after thousands of Afghan families were forcibly displaced from their homes, many remain in uncertain positions, struggling to secure housing, work, and education.
In that time, Scott has continuously worked to help resettle these families and allies who fought alongside U.S. troops for twenty years. That’s what the U.S. has always done: support our allies.
Now, the Trump Administration is breaking that promise, adding even more hurdles to the legal immigration process – leaving thousands of refugees and veterans in limbo and separated from their families.
Trump has severely damaged the U.S.’s global standing, but luckily, Democrats like Scott are fighting back.
