Team -- MJ just got off the debate stage and now we’re coming up on our FINAL end-of-quarter goal before the runoff election, and the way we see it, there are two different scenarios for how this race shakes out from here:
Scenario 1: We hit this goal, win the runoff, and head into the general election against Sen. Cornyn with the momentum we need to fight back against his big money attacks and WIN!
Scenario 2: We come up short and aren’t able to defend against all the money coming in from the Koch network and other special interests. Sen. Cornyn wins another term and spends six more years putting Mitch McConnell and big money donors ahead of working Texas families.
When the FEC reports are filed after this quarter ends, experts everywhere will use them to determine our chances of winning in November. WE know we can do it -- but we need to make sure everyone else does too!
