Our north star is protecting Home Rule and the District's autonomy.

I know there’s a lot of anxiety in our city. Over the last few weeks, I've seen DC residents do exactly what I would expect from our city – you’re focused on your neighbors and our autonomy. You’re concerned for each other, for our local control, and our rights as Americans. You’re defending our city, promoting our city, and many of you are giving me ideas, talking to me, and trusting my judgment. Thank you.

The wildly popular Jazz in the Park series has been extended into September. The next free performance will take place on Tuesday, September 2 at Hardy Recreation Center in Ward 3. Check out the full schedule, rally your family and friends, and come enjoy an evening of music near you.

#BeDowntown: Thursday Night Out

Every Thursday in September, Downtown parks and plazas will come alive with curated marketplaces, DJ-powered dance parties, and live art activations. Head to Chinatown Park and the National Museum Building lawn this upcoming Thursday to connect with community and dance the evening away.
