Rhode Islanders are feeling it every time they go to the grocery store: the average price of vegetables is up nearly 39% in just one year.

This isn’t because of farmers or supply chains, it’s because of Trump’s tariffs. A hidden tax that lands squarely on the backs of working people.

I’m fighting to end these tariffs because the middle class shouldn’t be stuck paying more for the basics. But here’s the thing: while I’m working to lower costs, Republicans in Congress are doubling down on Trump’s tariffs.
