"ON THE ROAD
WITH TONY..."

Welcome to our August newsletter!

We're especially proud of our involvement with the Macomb County community. Participation in our free "Fraud Notify" alerts system has now surpassed 18,000 sign-ups (up from 1,200 from when I took office), and these Macomb County residents will now receive email notifications if anyone tries to file a document in their name. This service helps protect our residents from someone attempting to steal their home or other real estate they own in Macomb County.

Our Macomb County senior citizens are a prime target for property fraud. That is why we are making an effort to get out and visit senior events and senior centers to help spread the word about property protection. Please see below about our latest efforts.

I was honored to be a recent guest on WDIV Local 4 News, talking about election integrity and how results are tabulated. Please see the feature below.

In addition, Mike Bishop, a former Michigan congressman and board member of the "Democracy Defense Project," stopped by to visit us at the Clerk's Office. Please read the Macomb Daily article below for more details.

I wish everyone a fun and happy Labor Day Weekend. And remember, our offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1, but you can access many of our services by visiting our website at macombgov.org/clerk.

"Welcome, Tyler Hunt"

Our Supervisors witnessed a young, ambitious man that was giving excellent customer service in the Self Help Center on the third floor of the Circuit Court Building.

Having a keen eye helped us secure this Lanse Creuse grad for the work we do for the courts. Tyler has his undergraduate degree from Michigan State and his Masters in Management from Walsh College.
