Billionaire Reid Hoffman, the founder of LinkedIn, is trying to buy my seat by supporting my 26-year-old challenger with zero record of accomplishment — someone who would serve as nothing more than a tool for their wealthy funders.

The people of New York City are smarter than that. Our nation needs steady, proven leadership that delivers results and can fight back against Trump’s authoritarian assault on our democracy.

With so much at stake, I need you by my side. I will always stand up for our communities and nation, but my seat is being targeted and we need to be prepared for anything that comes our way.
