I’ll be real: Part of my job here at Team Pettersen is to project confidence about how things are going for our campaign.

But I also don’t want to hide the truth from you, even when it’s difficult to hear. And the honest truth is, I’m not feeling overly confident right now. Here’s why:

Since Brittany Pettersen represents the most competitive district in Colorado currently held by a Democrat, our monthly fundraising goals aren’t some luxury we can survive without. They’re absolutely critical.

And with just a few days to go until our deadline, we’re still falling $3,105 short. Listen, it’s not the end of the world quite yet. But we need to kick this campaign into high gear — and fast.

Sunday night’s fundraising deadline is a huge test of strength for our campaign, and I’m determined to put Brittany in the best position possible on Election Day next year.
