In Iowa earlier this year, special elections returned 20+ point swings to Democrats. Dems flipped a ruby red state senate seat in Pennsylvania. 

In April, two GOP stronghold Florida congressional races moved 14 and 16 points left. Then Democrats flipped a New York state senate district that Trump won with 77% of the vote — Dems won by over 35%, representing a massive shift away from MAGA.

Just this week, another overperformance in Iowa: a conservative state senate seat flipped from red to blue with a 22 point swing away from Trump.

And because Dems have been crushing every major election in 2025, there are reports that Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) likely will not seek re-election.

Lauren Boebert only won her carpetbagging bid for a red district in eastern Colorado by 11 points in a year where the entire nation shifted right. Before her, Republicans had never won in this district by less than 25 points in any year. 

Freshman Rep. Gabe Evans only flipped the tossup 8th District by 2,500 votes - less than one percentage point.

The ingredients are all there for a massive backlash from voters who are fed up with Trump's trashing of our Constitution and his fascist attacks on our rights.
