Nancy Pelosi is fundraising for my opponent.

Can you believe it? One of the most powerful people in Congress and the Democratic establishment was called on to tip the scales in our primary race in favor of a life-long-Republican-turned Democrat instead of a progressive woman who has never been anything but a Democrat.

It’s ironic because "her friend" was one of the few “Democrats” withholding support for her Speaker of the House position in late 2018. Among them was also Dan Lipinski who lost to progressive Marie Newman in Illinois a few months ago. Let’s make sure that Dan Lipinski and Tom O’Halleran get to share even more come August.

This comes after the establishment blacklisted our campaign, after they bought over $1 million in television ads in our market, and AFTER my opponent padded his bank account with over $500,000 in corporate cash as of 3 months ago.

If they have to call in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to fundraise for them, we’ve got them scared.

We can’t let the establishment buy this race. They want nothing more than to keep their corporate-backed candidates in office so that regular people can’t dictate their agenda.

But now, we have to push harder to offset these outside influences.

Our progressive campaign is 100% grassroots. We are fighting for the soul of this country, not power and money.
