Portland Intersection Work on Brighton Avenue and Park Avenue [ [link removed] ] 08/29/2025 01:48 PM EDT
PORTLAND - The Maine Department of Transportation will begin work on intersections in Portland, Maine on September 2 for a mill and fill project with drainage and pedestrian safety improvements. The project area begins at the intersection Woodford Street and Brighton Avenue. The project area ends at the intersection of Deering Avenue and Park Avenue. Work is expected to be completed by June 2026.

During construction this roadway will be reduced to one-way alternating traffic.

This may impact commuter times during the construction period.

The contractor on this project is Shaw Brothers of Gorham, Maine.
