Moments That Matter 🧡

<[link removed]>

All good things must come to an end.

This district work period back home in Tennessee has been one for the books,
but it’s time to wrap it up and head back to the swamp—or as I like to call it,
the sewer.

We packed in everything from fundraising dinners to visits with small
businesses, and most importantly, a lot of good old-fashioned heart-to-heart
chats with the folks who voted me into office.

This month lit a fire in me and reminded me why I wanted to do this job in the
first place: to serve the people of East Tennessee. I heard directly from you
about what matters most, and I’ll be carrying those conversations with me when
I walk back into the Capitol next week.

We talked about the America First agenda and how much you appreciate the
progress President Trump has made securing the border and cleaning up crime in
blue cities like D.C.

I heard your concerns about our spiraling national debt, and we agreed that
cooling inflation is still a top priority for hard-working families.

Many of you shared encouraging words about my efforts to ban stock trading for
members of Congress—and you urged me to keep pushing for answers on the Epstein
filth and other forms of corruption.

I know I’ve said it before, but I really mean it: I take everything you say
into consideration. You all keep me in the know and remind me who I work for
and what we’re working toward.

Before I get on the plane, I’m hoping to fit in a few more sit-down talks and
a couple stops at Vol Market #3—but I’m ready to tackle the rest of the year in
a big way.

The fights ahead won’t be easy. If we want to pave the way for success in 2026
(and keep Republicans in charge so we can get things done), we’ve got to stay
focused and keep pushing.

Thank you for your trust, and I promise to keep doing everything I can to make
you proud.

Are You Ready For Some Football? 🏈

All my rowdy friends know what time it is—but we don’t care much about Monday
night. It’s all abouthigh school football
<[link removed]> here in East Tennessee,
where our hometown boys lay it all on the field on Friday nights.

The rivalries always lead to a showdown, so the Battle of Pistol Creek was no
surprise <[link removed]>. It went down
to the final play when Alcoa secured a dramatic 28-21 win over Maryville. What
a start to the 2025 season!

Oh and if you want my take on those nachos they’ve got at Alcoa, don’t miss my
Concession Confession Series
<[link removed]>. I gave ‘em a solid
overall rating of 8.5.

Got a game you don’t want me to miss this season? Drop me a line!
