Oklahoma,

Senate Republicans are about to change the rules. We can't let Democrats obstruct President Trump's nominees any longer. The president's highly qualified nominees have been stalled by partisan theatrics. However, despite Senate Democrats’ historic obstruction, the Senate GOP has still managed to push through 136 confirmations. Starting next week, we'll speed up this process. The president, more importantly, AMERICA, needs its team in place.

I have to take a second to brag on my friend and former colleague, Tulsi Gabbard. As Director of National Intelligence, she's streamlining her office to maximize efficiency for taxpayers, maintain an elite workforce, and eliminate excess bloat to better support our nation's intelligence priorities. ODNI 2.0 will save taxpayers $700M+ per year. The initiative she launched is simple: cut redundant missions, functions, and personnel, make critical investments in areas that support the president’s national intelligence priorities, and focus her office on rebuilding trust, exposing politicization and weaponization of intelligence, and holding bad actors accountable. This is a strong mission-focused approach I hope to see more of.

We've been in 24/7 communication with the White House ever since we passed President Trump's 'One Big, Beautiful Bill’—which included historic tax cuts, lower energy costs, and permanent border security. Before we left Washington, Chuck Schumer began moving the goalposts on a deal that would have confirmed many of the president's remaining nominees. President Trump and the Senate GOP told him to pound sand. For three weeks, we’ve been working on an action plan to stop the historic obstruction of our Senate Democrat colleagues. This is a permanent solution to a partisan problem caused by Trump Derangement Syndrome.

There is more to come on this. We'll break it down every step of the way. Stay tuned!

Team Mullin recently met with Department of Education Secretary Linda McMahon in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, for a tour of Vanguard Academy. Oklahoma is developing cutting-edge ways to increase science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) instruction and to empower students with a curriculum that prepares them for their careers. Vanguard Academy is a perfect example of an effective approach to raising the next generation of Oklahomans with the necessary skills to excel in all areas of their profession at a young age.

Almost a year ago, our office successfully secured funding for the University of Tulsa's Institute for Robotics and Autonomy. My team stopped by to check on the progress of the program, and TU students are developing some fascinating technology. From robots designed to assist the elderly to mechanical plumbers, the university is making strides in innovation. Thank you to the incredible staff and students for welcoming and showcasing your work to my team.

President Trump displayed his 'Peace through Strength' policy loud and clear without saying a word when he met Russian President Vladimir Putin at their summit in Anchorage, Alaska, to bring an end to the war in Ukraine. Putin was greeted with a flyover of a B-2 bomber (The same model that bombed Iran) flanked by four F-22s. This is a president who does not back down and is delivering on his campaign promise to end forever wars. I joined Fox News's Sean Hannity on Hannity to unpack their meeting and contrast how we wouldn't have had this meeting with President Biden in office.

I’ve spoken with countless Oklahomans across our state who are all-in to Make America Healthy Again. A critical part of MAHA is encouraging physical fitness. Recently, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth teamed up to start the "Pete and Bobby Challenge." This is a nationwide push to get Americans back in shape. The challenge—50 pull-ups and 100 push-ups—is designed to motivate Americans and help set a goal for physical fitness. I had to give it a shot.
