Let me give you three good reasons why.

John — in a minute, I'm going to ask you to chip in just $3 toward our end-of-month fundraising goal. But before I do, I want to give you three good reasons why you should consider chipping in:

1️⃣ The climate crisis isn't waiting. Record heat waves are baking cities across the country. Wildfires are raging in Europe. Floods devastated Texas communities last month. Scientists warn that we have just a few years left to significantly reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, and every day we delay makes recovery that much harder.

2️⃣ Donald Trump is waging a coordinated attack on our right to clean air, safe water, and a livable climate. His Big Ugly Bill just handed billions in giveaways to oil and gas executives while gutting environmental protections. He's opened up millions of acres of public lands to coal mining, eliminated methane pollution fees for fossil fuel companies, and he's even firing EPA scientists who study the health risks of toxic chemicals.

3️⃣ We must hit our $30,000 goal by Sunday to compete with Big Oil's billions. The fossil fuel industry is buying politicians and blocking climate action to protect their profits while our planet and people like you pay the price. Your $3 directly helps us elect climate leaders who will stand up to corporate polluters and deliver the bold solutions our communities desperately need.

So what do you say, John? Can I count on your $3 donation before our Sunday deadline to help us reach our critical $30,000 goal?

Let’s fight like hell, together,

xx Jane
