I’m asking you to make a donation before our August fundraising deadline hits at midnight on Sunday.

I’m not blind — I know what’s going on around the country, I know times are tough, and I know it’s never a great time to make a donation.

Here’s the truth, though: We won an incredibly tough campaign for Senate last year, in a state Trump took by 5.5%.

I’m one of just a few Democrats who pulled it off. To do it, we had to win over voters of every kind — Democrats, Republicans, independents, everybody. It wasn’t easy, but we figured it out. And because of that, I’m getting asked to do a lot of travel to help other candidates win their races.

Nationwide, I’ve been to Pennsylvania, Iowa, New Hampshire, and led a tele-townhall with Alaska Democrats — all places with a bunch of elections we really need to win.

I’m doing all of that because we need to take back the House and Senate next year. If we don’t we’ve got four straight years of Trump, so this is really, really important.
