Congress must block any further deployment of National Guard troops.

ACLU Supporter, over 1,000 National Guard troops from multiple states have been called in to further President Trump's abuse of power in D.C. Simultaneously, he's been reportedly planning to deploy military troops to Chicago to combat a nonexistent crime wave – all while renewing his threats to use the military to crack down on Black, brown, and immigrant communities in Baltimore, San Francisco, and New York City. This not only puts troops in legal and ethical jeopardy, but also puts all of our rights at risk of being violated.

This is all dangerous political theater. The Trump administration's manufactured emergency is meant to create chaos and scare us into silence, but we won't let them intimidate us.

The Trump administration must be held accountable. Call on Congress to block further domestic deployment of military troops – and rein in President Trump's egregious abuses of power. <[link removed]>

Take Action <[link removed]>

Make no mistake, ACLU Supporter: President Trump is attempting to write himself a blank check to deploy federal agents and military troops anywhere he wants, against whomever he wants.

But military troops have no place patrolling our streets. What we've seen in D.C. is an egregious abuse of power and overpolicing that specifically targets Black people, unhoused people, and immigrants. We cannot allow him to try this power grab in other cities.

Join us: Tell your representatives to pull these troops out of D.C. and block any further deployment of the National Guard. <[link removed]>
