In the primary election, outside interests spent nearly $300,000 attacking Deb. That money didn’t come from the 26th legislative district. The attacks were funded by corporations like Chevron, Koch Industries, and Marathon Petroleum Corporation. The message is clear: big business—especially big oil—doesn’t want Deb to win in November.
In contrast, Deb’s campaign is funded by people like you. She’s running a grassroots campaign rooted in the values of her neighbors across the 26th district.
Despite being outspent 2:1, Deb won the primary earlier this month by just over 1,000 votes. Republicans won’t give up this seat without a fight: we know that outside interests will double down on spending in the November general election to try to turn the tides.
That’s why our goal is to raise an additional $7,000 by the end of August. It may seem like a big number, but when we work together, we can get big things done. If everyone receiving this email gave just $5, we would reach our August goal two days early. Can you chip in $5?
