The past few months have undoubtedly been a challenging time for all of us.
It’s been made even worse by the failed leadership and moral bankruptcy of this “President.”
It couldn’t be more clear that this upcoming election is the most important of our lifetimes. That’s why I’m writing to you.
The soul of our nation, the rule of law, and our very democracy is at risk.
Donald Trump must be defeated this November -- or our country will never recover from the damage of his destructive presidency.
We can’t let up for one second in our fight to defend our House Majority, flip the Senate, and take back the White House this November.
So I’m asking: Will you help Speaker Pelosi and me hold the House Democratic Majority by splitting a contribution of $5 or more to our campaigns today?
No matter how much Trump seeks to divide Americans, attack its citizens, or stymie the progress we’re trying to make, we will keep fighting For the People.
We are going to keep proposing solutions to the problems our communities face, whether it is protecting your health care, combating systemic racism, helping families and small businesses weather the economic storm, addressing the high costs of prescription drugs or ending the gun violence epidemic.
And Speaker Nancy Pelosi will continue to lead the way.
This is a historic moment, and all of us need to stand up, speak up, and do whatever we can to safeguard our democracy.
