Notice of Public Meeting, Town of LaGrange, WY, LaGrange Water Project

The Town of LaGrange, 200 C Street, LaGrange, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 6:00pm, local time, on September 15th 2025, in the LaGrange Town Hall at 200 C Street. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project(s). LaGrange Water Project which will provide additional water storage, transmission lines and well development for daily water usage, fire storage and well blending.

At the meeting, the Town of LaGrange will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at 200 C Street. Contact Cathy Stoddard at 307-834-2466.

Based on current cost estimates, the Town of LaGrange plans to borrow $2,000,000 from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. Increased user fees will repay the loan. The average rate increase is estimated to be $75/month per user to repay the loan. Loan terms will be 0% interest rate and 30 years.
