Hey John, it’s Olivia, Chris’s finance director, here with an update.

We’re just 48 hours away from our end-of-month deadline, a goal we need to hit to ensure we’re in the best spot possible to defend this battleground seat in Western PA. The only seat held by a Democrat in Western PA!

Here’s the bad news: I’ve been crunching the numbers and our August fundraising has been a bit slower than usual. We still need to raise $3,158 to reach our end-of-month goal.

But here’s the good news: If everyone reading this email chips in just $5 now, we’ll be on track to hit our goal before midnight on Sunday!
