Tragically, we know that people with severe mental illness face a 15-20 year shorter life expectancy – largely the result of poorer physical health. But they also face major barriers to the fitness activities which could reduce this gap. Our new research sets out how we can overcome the barriers to tackle this injustice, and a blog from Hannah Moore on her own experiences brings to life many of the report's findings.
