NPR: “More than a month before former Vice President Joe Biden's stated deadline for naming his running mate, California Sen. Kamala Harris is emerging as the consensus front-runner to become Democrats' vice presidential nominee.”
Why is Senator Harris considered by some to be a frontrunner? Her professional background, experiences as a woman of color, and willingness to take the lead on congressional police reform may have something to do with Harris’s first-place finish in a recent multi-state survey of voters’ favorite VP picks.
